Rooted Community Hike: Nature & Plant Medicine Walk
For charity leaders, community group leaders, their staff and volunteers.
A summer medicinal plant walk across Horsenden Hill. Connect with nature as we explore and learn about the healing properties of various herbs found growing throughout. Cherrelle will share insights on the history of the herbs we find, their traditional and modern uses, and how to incorporate herbal medicine into your daily wellness routine. We'll move at a relaxed pace with mindful pauses to be present with our environment, reflect, chat, and enjoy some tea along the way.

Birthing in Colour: Remedies for Every Season of Womanhood
A workshop exploring the womb as a space of physical, emotional and intuitive connection.
Rooted in care, this herbal medicine workshop aims to create space for body literacy, cultural connection and shared lived experience, while exploring womb health, herbal support, nourishment, rest, ritual and informed self-care.
Each attendee will be invited to create a herbal tea blend to nurture the womb space with the aim of embedding ease into self-care in day-to-day life.

Rooted January Reset: Wellness Mini Retreat

A nurturing day designed for charity and community group leaders and their teams, who give so much of their energy supporting others. This calm, restorative session offers practical ways to support your own wellbeing, including learning about nature’s herbs and experiencing sound and vibration to help you relax, reset, and start the new year feeling more balanced.
What to expect on the day:
Workshop: Herbs and teas for physical & emotional support in winter - with Cherrelle Douglas of Omolara Herbal.
A soothing gong sound bath and sharing circle and guided reflective journaling - with Jaha Browne.
